Gives Back to the Community

On January 12, 2013, MKB Associates gathered to build a handicap ramp for one of our clients. About 18 months ago, one of our valued Associates began working with a young man that was confined to a wheelchair. He had an unfortunate accident in 1994 and was left without the use of his legs. After searching and looking at more than 60 homes, we found a nice Ranch style home that could accommodate his needs. Well, almost. He couldn't get in. He needed a ramp to be built. With his potential financial resources depleted due to loan costs and necessary interior renovation, he couldn't afford to have the ramp built. Our MKB Family was not going to let that impede him getting this home. So, time, talent, labor, and materials were donated by our awesome MKB Family and Darren is now able to wheel himself into his new home.
