2023 was a milestone year for the team at MKB, REALTORS as we not only celebrated our 50th anniversary, but our ongoing commitment to our core values of "LOCAL | KNOWLEDGEABLE | TRUSTWORTHY | MODERN". Culminating at our Benefit Gala and 50th Anniversary Celebration in November, the team at MKB spent the year working within the community, supporting charitable organizations, and partnering with numerous events and groups.

Headlined by the "50 For 50" campaign, MKB had the pleasure of working with such great organizations that included:

• Friends of the Blue Ridge - The Blue Ridge Marathon
• The Rescue Mission
• Local Colors
• Sleep in Heavenly Peace
• Habitat for Humanity
• Angels of Assisi
• West End Center for Youth
• Renovation Alliance
• Red Cross
• Feeding Southwest Virginia
• Toys for Tots

Through the hard work and generosity of our team and community, we were able to raise $128,720 for Renovation Alliance at our 50th Anniversary Benefit Gala! In addition to that, MKB donated over $50,000 to other charitable organizations in Southwest Virginia.

Another element at the heart of our mission is strengthening our company and our agents through education and a focus on the ever-changing industry. In 2023, MKB provided amazing learning opportunities through 59 continuing education classes, 23 property tours, 21 "Coffee With Kit" Zooms, 9 TAD Talks, and 6 business meetings. Events also played a major part in our year together:

None of this would be possible without the wonderful MKB staff, which grew by four throughout the year: Chief Experience Officer, Relocation Administrator, Transaction Coordinator, and Director of Property Management & Client Services.

We were also lucky enough to welcome 38 REALTORS into the MKB family!

The people of MKB, REALTORS are the fabric of our company and a vital part of our continued mission of shaping a future of trust, collaboration, and prosperity of our community as a whole.
